Ya I've always wondered this myself, why not teach kids the dangers of things pills...robotripping mainly, that shit is so bad for you but I know a lot of dumb ass people that try stupid shit. Maybe our school should teach the dangers of all drugs, I know never in my school have I learned about drugs except in like elementary school and all they pretty much said were drugs are bad and everyone says they won't use drugs but obviously that doesn't work. Our government needs to warn the people about shit that can seriously injure or kill you rather than marijuana which they can't even bash with real facts.

Truth in advertising, nah, it'll never happen. Especially when it's typical republican propaganda.

I wish some government shithead came here and saw us all laughing at thier stupid ads. I understand they have thier own point of view, but its past that....
These people are just fuckin' stubborn, and when a marijuana proponent makes a good point, they use their power to overturn them with some ridulous fucking statement like....'well what kind of message are we sending to our kids'....Please.....online gambling is a bigger problem than marijuana...trust me I stayed in a dorm for a year.
There were kids at college that would smoke and stay in their rooms, and chill, and then those that would funnel a vodka/beer/wine mix and cause thousands in damage to the dorms (true story...not that I am against alcohol, but I do believe its a good argument for marijuana legalization).

LOL HAHA...I've never seen a cocaine ad...I think anyone would just laugh at that one anyway. They should focus more on CRACK though, that's the real problem (Stupid government AGAIN)!

Why Are There Anti-MARIJUANA Commercials?!?!
Ok, I'm gonna explain it to y'all...
The reason why they focus so heavily on demonizing marijuana is because there is such a heavy focus by us (by "us" I mean the pot smoking community) to get marijuana decriminalized. No one is advocating the legalization of crack or heroin, so there's no point in making anti-crack or anti-heroin commercials.
Do you get what I'm saying?
It's like a political ad campaign. If you want to win, you have to smear your opponent. If they keep telling people marijuana is dangerous, then people will keep voting not to legalize it.[SIZE=\"3\"]\"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. Ya, I know...that sounds correct to me...it just upsets me. I hate bullshit. Especially when all know about the bullshit, but we still can't stop the bullshit lol. This 'bullshit' I speak could potentially ruin someones life more-so than the drug itself. I guess its just hard to digest that we are always going to live in a bullshit-filled society, when we know the truth. It was almost easier when you didn't know the truth and were against the marijuana! Second thought...fuck that..if you can't beat 'em join 'em...and I hope the government and parents eventually see shit that way.
