does smoking stems get you high?

sometimes i mix the stems with the weed in my bowl because they burn longer and i figure.. hey.. waste not want not.. and my one friend agrees completely.. but i say it around anyone else and they look at me like im crazy so.. can you get high from smoking stems??

sure, there can be THC in the stems.

i usually just trash em though cause it seems like they make the bowl harsher to hit... or when i get big stems that obviously have crystals on em i put em in a bottle of liquor to sit for awhile!! thc laced liquor is the best

I tried it once. Smoking straight up stems. Never again. They did give me a buzz, but it was a weird sensation, and I felt like I was smoking bark off of a tree. Yuck.

But I will shave the fuzzy goodness off of them and add it to some shake.
