I would never try to pack a piece I have already used and bring it on a plane. Security is a tight as ever and a dog will smell anything, no matter how well you clean it.

My friends have been to other countries where wood and clay pieces go for about $3. At that price you could afford to throw it out and still bring back a few new ones with no security worries.

I really want to go soon, but my parents marriage is kind of on the rocks and we can't really afford it. Anyway, while thinking about this I remembered when my friend went on vacation to Costa Rica or sumodd place he brought back a very cool wood pipe.
