    i'm w/ u.g.u on this one .
i'm mean to my girls and they love me for it . but then again i'm not using c.f.l s and i'm not all cramped up in a tiny space . i top , pinch , and tie em down and can average 14-17 oz. per hoe in waterfarms . this is w/ 6-8 weeks veg. time .
think big if at all possible . the average cfl grow prob. couldnt produce enuf per grow to tide me over for a week.
    peace

i really put some thought into doing that too but i wanted to keep it more small scale. How are the 50gallons working out? how many bulbs/watts are in it?

its working out alright, to get them to stack right he had to cut the center of the lid out and put it on the bottom tub. there are 8 x 23watts and 2 x 43 watts.

    total of:
268w 18000Lumens, all 2700k spectrum. its only been 2-3 days since he finished it but so far everything looks great!

Hope you can get some pics of your friend's cab! Mine is really half-assed compared to what we could've done. It's not our main flowering area, though.

Regarding the LST & pruning. I do both also. I have one plant (#11a) That I'm keeping very low and she's getting wider. Just topping and do some LST. I haven't sent one to flower but that's pretty much it, I suppose.

    G'Luck.

by the way, does any1 have any good design or plan for putting to use 2x 4ft flouro and a double 4ft flouro strip to work in a veg box? i was thinking about maybe getting one of those big plastic trash bins and putting it sideways for a veg chamber. even the 50 gallon rubbermaid tubs are too small to fit a 4ftflouro.

Glorious, I have 3 bins going, two 22gal and one 18gal. I'm trying to get a perpetual harvest going. 1 veg/mother 2 flowering but we will see. :smokin:
