Why shouldn't the national public see war? They are the ones who make it all possible. The government can only declare a war, but it's the people who provide soldiers and support them, with weapons & ammunition, with food and medical care, with money, and with encouragement.

We send friends and family off to war with hugs and kisses. We assure them that we love them and that we are proud of them. We tell them how special they are. We try to build up their morale, and assure them they are doing a good thing.

We should all see what the fuck is going on.

Both sides put forth very rigid, black & white, no compromising, viewpoints of politics and the world. It's all or nothing for people like that. But the real world doesn't work that way. The real world is not black & white, left and right, good and evil, ying and yang. Reality is in between the two extremes. It is shades of gray.
