Bill O'reilly is an extreme right-wing tool. Keith Olbermann is an extreme left-wing tool. Both sides put forth very rigid, black & white, no compromising, viewpoints of politics and the world. It's all or nothing for people like that.

But the real world doesn't work that way. The real world is not black & white, left and right, good and evil, ying and yang. Reality is in between the two extremes. It is shades of gray. Reality is a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. This is why I simply cannot give my support to either the republicans or the democrats. Because they are both wrong.

It's sad that there is only one single Independent in all of congress. It's sad that we are constantly being forced to choose between one extreme or the other. And it's sad that the media does nothing but endlessly encourage those kinds of flawed debates.
