It depends on the woman, some women ovulate at weird times, usually the best conception time is roughly 12 to 16 days after the start of a period. Eggs stay viable for roughly 24 hours after ovulation and then they die. Best way to conceive is sex every other day and not every day according to my doctor when I was trying to get pregnant.

If you don't want to get pregnant make sure you use something cause sperm can live 72 hours, (damn those boys are hardy).
