Im gonna say i really don't know, but from what ive been told (by a crazy ex girlfriend who probably doesnt know either) its right before they start their period. usually up to 4days before till the day before.

dont really go by my word, and goodluck if you're trying to start a family.

it's day 14 til about day 28- or the middle of her cycle to when she has her period. thats when ovulation occurs- or when the egg is released from the ovary. why do u want to know? are u trying to get pregnant or trying to prevent getting pregnant? because solely relying on the bodies natural cycle for birth control is pretty ineffective unfortunately.

It depends on the woman, some women ovulate at weird times, usually the best conception time is roughly 12 to 16 days after the start of a period. Eggs stay viable for roughly 24 hours after ovulation and then they die. Best way to conceive is sex every other day and not every day according to my doctor when I was trying to get pregnant.

If you don't want to get pregnant make sure you use something cause sperm can live 72 hours, (damn those boys are hardy).

If you want to get pregnant, just keep trying and enjoy

I was the conceiving expert. Just was only lucky enough to bring one of them to full term. Had early miscarriages with several others, much to my heartbreak.

The fertile period is during ovulation, which happens about halfway between each menstrual period. So for a woman who's got an every-28-day menstrual cycle, she generally ovulates in the day 11-13 day range and stays fertilizable for up to a total of 2 1/2 days (so between days 11 and 14 she can get pregnant). For women with regular, predictable periods, the basal body temperature drops two or four points and then quickly spikes upward right after that drop. That's usually a good way to tell when ovulation has begun. The actual release of the ovum into the Fallopian tubes happens about a day and a half before the exact mid-way point of the cycle. Not everyone has even, predictable periods, though. Women can and do ovulate at any time of the month, including when they're having their periods.

I have always been able to clearly tell when I'm ovulating. The urge to be, well, horizontal, is overwhelmingly stronger during that time.

Tell your girlfriend/wife its different for every woman then you will have to practice much more just to be safe!
