My new bubble/ultrasonic humidifier cloner :) (pics)
Well, I set out to make a bubble cloner, and after I started building it I remembered I had the vaporizer out of one of those trippy vaporizer things that make steam and light up. I fucking broke the bowl that held it, but I'm glad I kept that part around. I've seen ultrasonic cloners before and they were fuckin hella expensive. It smogs out the box with water vapor, that should be good for the stems to produce roots right?
Or am I wrong, will the vaporizer make it too humid for the stems? They'll still be getting fresh air from the air stones. Any input?
Pics:
#1: Air stones with pump on. I think the tube air stone would have been better.
#2: Air bubbles side view
#3: Air pump (left), Ultrasonic vaporizer(right). The foil and electrical tape aren't an attempt to water-proof it lol, it already is. I was just covering up the LEDs. It has like 8 and changes colors and flashes.
#4: Air pump & vaporizer on
#5: Lid. Probably can't make use of all 15 holes at once, but allows for flexibility of placement.Anathema2121 Reviewed by Anathema2121 on . More pics:
#1: Air pump and vaporizer on, side view(see how its all smogged out
)
#2: No air pump, just vaporizer. If you don't disturb it, it just collects and flows over the edges. Thats what it used to do in a bowl, and light up different colors, lol. It was pretty cool.

you'll probably still need a timer. nice setup though, where did you acquire the fogger?

Hey I got a couple of those foggers I got out of the fogging bowl, my stand broke and I saw it in the garage the other day. Good to know I can put this to good use.

I wasn't aware you needed a timer with a cloner

And the fogger came from one of those decorative fogger glass bowl things that lights up and changes colors. The fogger would still light up and change color if I didn't cover the LEDs in foil & electrical tape lol
