It's an incomprehensable thought to think about, after someone's death.... to realize that individual doesn't exist anymore. And except within our meager history and what trivial cause and effect they might have had, that they might as well have not existed at all.

Or to look at yourself and think 'one day I won't exist anymore'. And if I won't exist then why in the hell do I even exist now? What's all this bullshit about?

What I do know is that one day we will, for the most part, overcome death. Either we'll plant our brains in machines, or grow spare bodies...who knows. All I do know is that it's inevitable.

And if we can and will eventually do it, it seems to me that nothing is new under the Sun, and there's a strong possibility that someone, or something has already done it.

Now what's intriguing about that thought is what would a being be like after, say..a 10 million year lifespan? ...or 10 billion? What would you know and what could you do? Would you be so advanced that you can piss around with creating Universes? ..popping Bing Bangs just for jollies? Would you have an antfarm called Earth just to kill the bordom an watch it grow? (like seamonkeys...lol)

Of course, I'm just playing with ideas. The goofy mutherfuckers will come on in a minute and claim they know all about life after death and what it's all about, I'm sure. But what it all boils down to is there's never been anyone on this green Earth who knows one damn thing more than you do, wherever you're at right now, sitting there in your chair, wondering about it.
