a new lighting question?
If i were to use a 300 watt lamp much like this one http://www.backyardstyle.com/shop/in...4cb3788b481a07 and I used a 250 watt hps bulbs, would it bo ok for my plants?

a new lighting question?
That is a standard reflector, apparently with a standard socket...won't work as-is with an hps bulb. You'll need a ballast for the hps. The brooder lamps are made for keeping young chickens warm and generally use heat bulbs.
