I've noticed people who eat raw weed and get stoned usually eat well over 2 grams. If 3.5 grams of good weed only gets you a nice 6 hour high, you're being very wasteful.

It's completely true that THC is THC and yada yada yada, but raw weed has so much fiber that it takes hours for your body to break it down. The longer it takes to get the actual drugs out of all that fiber and into your blood, the weaker your high will be.

THIS is the number one reason heating pot in a fatty substance works. Fiber must by chemicly broken down by your body, and that's not easy to do. If you heat the weed in a fatty substance, it will absorb into this fat. Butter is infinitely easier for your body to quickly absorb nutrients from than raw plants (Every heard that celery burns more calories than it puts on? It's because of the long process involved in digesting raw plants). And heat (as anyone who's taken a chem class knows) will help the lipids absorb the THC from the pot which is why cooking longer gets you high more quickly and effectively. Basically, cooking pot in some kind of lipid source doesn't really "activate" thc, but saves your body the trouble of having to break down the plant fibers to get to the drugs, resulting in more THC being absorbed more quickly to get you more high.

Has any one tried to eat just weed Has any one pulled out all their stems and ate just a gram of dank, not mixing it with any brownies just straight up eating there bud?
