Yea, there was a severe shortage of weed here in the mid 70s but a friend had Nepalese finger hash in supply for 6 months. In the early 70s the Mexican even had flavor and quality (relatively speaking). Occasionally got some Jamaican or Panama Red,then it went to brown dirt Mexican. Then there was a wave of good Columbian, that was generally better than any of the Mexican had been. Then that became dirt/dried up Columbian. Then the exotic domestic stuff started showing up and we learned the term sinsemilla. Since then the only bad thing is the prices.
