Has any one tried to eat just weed

This kinda combines what Ive seen in two posts by diff people on this thread:

my friends dog ate a quarter of some quality shit, and was so messed up that we thought we had killed him. He eventually slept it off. The dog, needless to say, didnt heat up the bud. He just ate it, and was really messed up...Dont know if this applies to humans or not, but it didnt need to be heated for that dog to REALLY feel something...

I always eat a nice lil chunk of a bud, if its some tasty, beautiful shit. Usually right when I get it. Not to get an effect from it, but just to taste it. To whoever said it doesnt have a taste when eaten raw, you just havent eaten the right shit. Some of the better stuff Ive eaten had a really strong taste, almost unbearable...Even the not so good stuff has had some kind of taste. When cooked into something (brownies, cake, cookies, by simmering into butter for use in the mix), Im sure it does work better to get you a buzz than just putting the weed into whatever youre making. I just eat it cause I want to. It seems to me that the stronger aroma and taste that a certain bud has, for the most part, determines if the shit is any good or not, for the most part. Not always true though.

How does the THC get heated up when its in pill form? Ive eaten them, and they give me the same effect that eating weed brownies do. Its not heated up THC, that I know of.

But, isnt it possible that your own body heat would heat up the THC, eventually? Meaning, that just eating weed, raw, would make you feel the effects too, after heating up in your body. Its warmer inside of us than it is outside today. Well...where I live anyway...Normal body temp is around 98 degrees farenheit, so wouldnt that be enough to heat up the THC?

I just thought about this and had to bring it up.

Lung problems run in my family, both sides. So After 20 years of 2 plus packs of cigarettes per day, and joints upon joints, I finally gave up all smoking. Well I gave up tobacco first, and a few years later I gave up all smoking. Been eating now for a few years, and trust me, eat your pot, do not smoke it.
Raw pot will get you blazed, believe me. It does take a tad bit more than cooked pot, and it does taste like shit. But, It is not a placebo. I have been around too many years, and I know being high, or stoned, or the level of stone, such as body stone or mind stone. And trust me, consuming herb by eating will work. Oral consumption makes the stones last so much longer. I eat 5 to 8 cookies and if I am not blazed for 6 to 12 hours the pot must be really really weak.
I loved the day a trooper was slowly passing me as I was eating my stone. No one to the wiser, I ate feeling free. You cannot quite do that with a doobie. Once you get hooked on eating pot, you will not go back to smoking. Besides smoking is not natural. And in accordance with all laws of God, I really do not feel Cannabis was put on earth for smoking. I do believe it is here for us to consume, but not by smoking it.

I got in a little scap with this dude at the pub and got arrested by the piggers..
Anyways I had 1/8 of bud on me and was scared they would find it..So on the way to the station I ate it.. It tasted like shit and i almost choked..I remember one of the cop's looking through the screen in the car asking me if I was alright. lol

Eating raw weed does fuck all. You could eat 10 ounces of the finest raw skunk and feel nothing at all. You need heat to activate the thc, hence it being smoked/cooked.

your so naive. First off any stoner what its like to be buzzed and what its like to be stoned. buzzed is often the effects of placebo. If the man an 1/8th and said he was tripping HE WAS TRIPPING. I'm trying some brownies now, they're in the oven cooking. I made a big bottle of canna-oil today out of 2.5 ounces of dried budlets (the little mini-buds that grow along stalks below the main big buds), hope it kicks my ass! Here's a pic of what I have left after using half a cup for the first batch of brownies.
