when i first started smoking i thought that u could justeat bud and u would get the same effect of smoking it. my brother hooked me up with 5 diesal ass nugs like an inch long and 3/4 of an inch thick (dont no weight cuz back then i didnt even have a scale) im guessing all together it was a fat 1/8. anyways i started to smoke a bowl with my friend (only the 2nd bowl i had ever smoked) and i started coffin like crazy so i was like fuck this and ate all my bud and i had only taken one rip and let my freind smoke the rest. i was sooooooo dumb, i barely felt anything, ive been more high off a bowl of the schwaggiest shwag ever then i had been then. after that i never ate nug agian nor did i bother to cook with it

I don't understand why everyone is saying you can't get high off of eating pure bud.

Tell that to my dog who eats a nug and then dazes for hours on end before laying on his back and pissing himself.

The only time I've ever eaten pot was the first day I ever smoked pot, when I was 15. Me and a friend smoked 8 fat joints, until our lungs hurt too much to smoke anymore. Then he had the idea of making brownies, so we threw some pot in some brownie goo and got it cooking. 10 minutes later, that brownie smell hit us, and we were too hungry to wait, so we took it back out and ate pot-brownie goo with spoons until the taste of chocolate became sickening.

Finally, my friend goes to the kitchen and returns with two coffee mugs, which he filled up with about a half ounce of pot per cup and said, 'Here, let's just eat this shit raw." So we sat down and tried to eat it, but it was kinda dry and yucky, so we didn't eat a whole ton.

And despite all that -- 8 joints, pot-brownie-goo, and eating it raw -- we didn't get stoned. Just the way it is for some people the first time.

I still remember that taste/texture though, and it wasn't very pleasant, so I've never felt the urge to repeat it.

I'm trying some brownies now, they're in the oven cooking. I made a big bottle of canna-oil today out of 2.5 ounces of dried budlets (the little mini-buds that grow along stalks below the main big buds), hope it kicks my ass! Here's a pic of what I have left after using half a cup for the first batch of brownies.

i read somewhere that our digestive systems can't really digest raw dense plant matter like weed without cooking it first, because the enzymes and stomach acid is not strong enough to fully break it down. it will get you high, as the thc breaks off of the plant matter and is absorbed by your stomach lining, but you would have to eat a lot, and your shit would be marbelized with green plant matter. the stems might hurt comin out your ass too.

yeah thats why when u eat too much vegetables and such, then u take long, painful shit, it goes through your stomach strait out your ass, thats why vegetables r good for diet, eat too much, shit too much

That oil I made is da bomb. Each pan of brownies (16 brownies) has either 16 weakish 'doses' or eight kickass 6-hour two-brownie doses. So that's 48 hours of good stoning per pan of brownies. I got enough oil to make 11 pans, so that's 528 hours of good stoning, for 2.5 ounces of pot.

When I smoke, I usually blow about a gram with the woman, and that lasts a couple of hours (but it's also two people). So figure 4 hours of good stoning per gram. So 2.5 ounces (70 grams) would have produced 280 hours of good stoning, or a little more than half the stoning hours the oil/brownies provide.

Wow, after doing the math, I'm almost convinced I should eat more and smoke less. Lol!

i hva eat weed extracts never raw weed you can eat weed but you are suppossed to get all the thc out of the bud and eat that by cooking u can get some bud about a j worth maybe a little more boil some water and put the weed and some butter about a table spoon lets all that boil for a short wile then, strain it where u can get all the weed pieces out of butter water then put butter water in refig butter will come to top after cooling pross this is potent butter put it on anyting you want and get high hell yeah
