I've started getting about a bar of hash a week and im trying to find the best way to chop it up? have heard of loads of different ways but trying to find the best

Do you mean chop it up to smoke?

Grind it or heat it with a ligher untill its soft and crumble it into a joint / p ipe or bong

Most people heat it with a lighter and use a cheese grater.

Hard to find hash around these parts..

if it's to smoke, see above, if it's for ummmm, something else, then get a big knife (crocodile dundee style), heat it right up (ie rest the blade over a gas ring on full flame for a couple of minutes) then chop away. If you're having grief you can put the dope in the microwave for a minute to soften it up but if you do, try and chop it all up in one go. Each time you heat it you're losing some of the sweet stuff. That help any? Happy smoking.

If your going to put it in a microwave only do it in little blasts, because you'll vape the THC away otherwise, and then you can say bye bye to getting stoned.
