damp bud...not dank

high guys
i bought an 1/8th of some top 44 bud last night and wen i came home i felt the bud properly, it felt really soft, and a tiny bit moist, as if it was picked quite recently. I'm drying the bud in a container under a table lamp to dry it out, and im gonna smoke it later, i did roll a joint before and i got pretty fucked off it but i hope im doing the right thing, any comments on what you think might be going on with the bud are welcome.

Dont put it under a lamp. You wanna dry it in a cool dark place. Make sure it dont get moldy though.

The heat under a lamp can get very hot, so yeah, it's the not the best idea to put it under a light. Not only that, but light and heat breaks down THC, so it may give it a harsh smoke.

Whenever you buy weed its a good idea to take it out of the bag and feel it in your hands before the purchase. So you don't wind up paying for 20%+ of the weight in water. I hate wet weed.
