White lighters.

It's probably a superstition created by the Bic company. Because white lighters NEVER die. They last double the time regular lighters do. Or at least they seem to - to me.

I dunno about white lighters...on two different occasions i've had a white lighter and out of nowhere a tire gets a flat and me/friends have to change it....but its all good cause we still get to smoke.:thumbsup:

One of my friends thinks it bad luck light with any lighter but your own so we are trying to break him of that habbit by stealing his lighters

I've never particularly had bad luck while using a whit lighter, but they always seem to get stolen...

My "designated weed lighter" is a plain white Bic lighter. I keep it in my stash with my pipe and rolling papers. Its plain white karma is rubbing off all over everything.

So far, so good. I don't think it's bad luck!

In fact I might get superstitious from now on and ONLY use a white lighter.

Wow, thats so weird. I heard this for the first time today too. I was gonna make a post about it. One of my friends says he has known a lot of people that got caught with white lighters. I don't really buy it, but I'm probably not going to grab the white one now when im at the gas station either.

The issue of bad luck from a White lighter comes not from the lighter or the color of said lighter, but It comes from the perception of the ability of any object to bring bad luck. If 4/5 people with you believe 100 percent in the ability of a white lighter to bring bad luck, then seemingly "unfortunate" events will have a much greater chance of happening. It's all about thought.
