its all because of courtney love. She sold something like 25% of nirvanas music to someone. Next thing we'll see is smells like teen spirit on a deodorant commercial. But im a big nirvana fan so i guess thats cool....

I think this is funny, "...Cobain earned 50mil. by the end of Oct. of 05..." I thought he was dead?

I shouldn't joke, he was a gifted musician who I looked up to for many years.

Cobain would hate the thought of all the money that's being made off his part in the band. He hated being famous in the first place and I bet he doesn't regret a single day of what happened to him. Poor guy.

I can't imagine what his daughter is going to be like when she becomes 16 or something. With a mother like that, and a tragic story behind her fathers life, wow...good luck kiddo.

i find kurt cobain to be extremely over rated simply because of his suicide. i know nirvana brought grunge to the main stream or whatever but most nirvana songs are just power chords and i don't think he's as good as everyone makes him out to be. had he not died, i don't think as many people would cream their pants over nirvana.
The above post is fictional and should in no way be taken as truth.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.

I agree, their music may not have been super technical, but they were catchy songs, and a song isn't good just because it has a million notes played per minute. It was his lyrics that made him unique.

Towards the end, Nirvana was actually breaking up.

Perhaps you have listened to Nirvana on Mtv unplugged, but if you havent may i suggest it to you? Kurt, along with his band, play acoustic music with grace and a very high level of professionalism/talent.
That being said..., top 40 never did for me what the back 40 fourty does. I do my best to never listen to corporate top 40 computerized radio.

IMO there is just way toooo much awesomely great independent music out there to ignore.
The only Nirvana cd i ever bought, and would ever buy, was mtv unplugged.
I dig my electric guitars, but my heart is in acoustic music, fiddles, dobros, harmonicas, banjo, and the old and faithful, washboard.

my new stuff is nothing like my old stuff was
and neither one is much when compared to this song
which will not be as good as some others ones you've heard
so help me i know i know i know:thumbsup:
