Anyways, I haven't heard much about stunting the growth. That just sounds like it would fuck things up if you messed with it.

What you're after though, bonsia plant, you want to keep things short and bushy. You achieve this by topping your plant, tying down branches so more light gets in the side shoots area, or using the FIM technique. Look in the Indoor Growing section and the FAQ section for step by step instructions.

I personally top my plant keep things short. All I do is at about 3 weeks of life, or about the 4th internode up, I cut the emerging growth completly off. What that does is it puts in it's energy into the the side branches, and with a clean cut, you get 2 main tops that split off, instead of one main top. To get even more tops and bigger side branches, you just top the tops, to get 2 new tops, off the one new top...wow, that's a lot of tops.
