I'll look into some Satriani.

Oh boy, I just looked into this a little deeper. It's a one year prep program and I need a certain % in a class, which I already have, but these are the other requirements:

1. A polished performance of two constrasting pieces of your choice that demonstrate your playing or singing abilities.
2. A demonstration of technical skills appropriate to your instrument (eg. vocalises for singers; scales, chords, arpeggios, long tones, tonguing, etc. as appropriate for pianists and other instrumentalists).
3. Aural tests (eg. recognition of chord qualities and melodic intervals, clapback of rhythmic patterns).
4. Playing or singing a short unfamiliar excerpt at sight.
5. A brief interview to discuss your musical background, interests and goals.

Whoo boy. I'm pushing this back to Sept. of 07. I have a lot of learning to do boy. A lot of the stuff I once did learn, but I got lazy and drunk for a number of years and all that flew out of my brains.

And LIP, you silly man you.

I need suggestions for a well written piece of music... hi all, So I got a call from my mom and dad yesterday, and they said if I wanted to go back to school then they would put me back in. I've been giving this thought for many years and I decided to just go for a music program at the college. You learn theory, etc...everything you need to know about music and aspects of it. Not only will it branch out my style, but it leads me in the right direction. I think it'd be a lot of fun to teach guitar at a college. It'd be good money, great Rating: 5
