T5HO VS. 400wMH

I got my hands on an 1,000w HPS light that I plan on using for multiple bubble buckets.
For vegetation (mommies and clones) I was wondering which should I get:

i would go with the T5's since you plan on running both a flower room and a propogation room simultaneously, running 2 HIDs can add up in electricity not to mention the fans that cool them, however nothing can compare to the way a MH vegges mj so bushy and short, ive always done mh/hps grows and loved the results, flouros are great just not my cup of tea, but 2 months of veg under the flouros till your 1st flower crop is done will probably work out extremely well

Well watt for watt MH is better but depending on your setup the heat advantage could outweigh the higher lumen's and penetration.
