    MH Bulb in Incandescent socket???

    Hey guys,

just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to put a 100W - 150W metal highlide bulb into an incandescent (normal) light socket? Will it explode or blow a fuse? The voltage should be 105 if it makes a difference. I'd appreciate any help, thanks a ton!

Do not do it. MH ballasts have converters and igniters and are tailor made to go with a very specific bulb. I do wish it was that easy though.

BlueBear is 100% correct ... pay attention to what he says ... MH is right for vegging, but not good for flowering ... do your research, LOTS of posts in here regarding the proper lighting ... :smokin:
