removing the screen off my grinder

ok there are large holes in the steel part of my grinder that grinds up the bud and then it falls through the screen and then into the keif catcher. but between the screen and the steel part that grinds up the bud there is space for grinded up to get stuck.

so how can i remove the screen? it looks like its held up by a metal ring. gracias

If you mean the space case grinder than i don't think you can remove that screen. And why would you want to? It'd be a pain to get back in.
Simply use a peice of hard plastic cut to size to scrape and tap the screen.

I had a wood one that did something simular, I just used a flat head screwdriver, for eyeglasses, and knocked out the small pieces. I dont recall a ring holding in the screen, I remember it being loose and that I needed to place it on the inner edge of the catcher when I was attaching it.

    [----] grinder
    1 1 1 /top

    [ 1 1 ] center

    ------- screen

    (_____) catcher

    yours simular?

Most grinders that have a space between the grinder part and the screen actually come apart into 3 pieces. Especially metal ones, they just unscrew usually.

My screen doesn't come out, but I'm not sure what the problem is.

The metal ring has a lot of tension. I have a lot of problems trying to remove the screen on mine. Use a small flat blade screwdriver, and start levering one of the ends out. Be careful, because you might injure yourself, and the ring might come flying out into your face!
