college: vaporizer?

since i might be getting off probation a little early, i've begun preparations to get my smoking life back. i was just wondering all of your guys thoughts on vaporizers and if anyone has one? im living in a dorm in college (obviously) and it would be fuckin sick to hide the smoke (or lack thereof) and save my lungs at the same time. do vaporizers really work? any direction to point me in to get one, like some badass super vaporizer and rocks? thanks in advance for the replies to anyone, peace!

Vapes are good at getting rid of smoke, but they cost an absolute bomb.

And it takes away the enjoyment of smoking weed, its the most unsociable way to smoke it.

My Vapor Brother's GNES Hands-free cost me $139 + $15 S&H from discountworldonline.com. That's about what I paid for my "History of Art" Book a few years back in college! (Dang, they rip students off for books!) Sociable? The whip style can be down-right intimate- My hubbie and I find it that way, anyway. The whip's tubing is about 3 feet long- it can reach between a few buddies, or you can just get some more high temp tubing and lengthen it. I still enjoy my weed, it just lacks the "bite" that you get smoking. I can live without that. Especially since I use 1/2 the pot and make brownies with the leftover pot (yes, they will get you high). I love the ability to put down the whip for 10 minutes and then just take up where I left off toking with no wasted pot! No smell (our 2 adult sons don't use, but live with us) makes life easier. And NO TOKER'S COUGH!!! I've toked for 40 years (no tobacco!) and I had quite a cough, two weeks after getting my VB, it was gone! I also can toke right-off-the-plant bud to taste/potency test early budding plants- I can pick my mothers that way. I'm vaping bud that was growing 4 days ago and it tastes fine after the first "green" tasting hit. Vaporizers are the way to go! :thumbsup: GET A VAPORIZER! :dance:

Yeah ditto what she said. I got a vaporbox (rip-off of the vaporbrothers one, but it has a ceramic heating element which is better) on ebay for $100 (normally goes for 160). Definitely get one. I pass it around with three of my roommates and we have our own vape rituals etc. I used it in my dorm last year with no problems. :thumbsup:

Originally I thought it didn't do any difference in regards to smell, but the other day I and a friend of mine were toking on my vaporizer in his room and his girlfriend didn't smell anything until she actually got inside of his room, so yeah they don't spread the smell very much. You could probably kill it with some basic insense or whatnot.

The best vaporizer is the Volcano, but it costs an arm and a leg - between 500$ and 600$. The vaporizer I use is the Voodoo, it costs 200$ but includes a grinder, vaporizer bags, some legal herbal shit, a cd, and a few other things.

Just google "voodoo vaporizer kit" and you should find quite a few links to buy it

That's not neccessarily true. My Vaporizer, a Voodoo, can be passed around very easily (it's designed to be held in the hand) making it very sociable.
