I will go and read the link you posted Bob, but you said, "The Muslim faith is by nature a non violent faith." Actually even from the writings of the Koran, it seems that the religion was mainly promoted threw violence. The bible is similar in the old testament, but in the new testament it is exactly the opposite, and even in the old testament the goal of the Jews was to take over a particular land in the name of their God, but with the Muslims the violence was to spread over the entire known world in order to spread the faith if needed. History has painted a pretty vivid picture of it, which has been recorded by historians from many cultures in the ancient world. So this seems a little fuzzy in my logic, but I know that we all have our different opinions on this stuff and I aint trying to hurt anyone's feelings, at least not this time, LOL.
Also, the Crusades which were instigated by the Catholic faith were not something that originated from the writings of the bible, it was political and money centered, but the Muslims ancient attempts to take over the world were directly tide to the teacher of their faith and the example he left and the teachings he propagated.
Also, I have met some awsem Muslim people, but do have a differing opinion on many things that they may find offensive.

What Bob was saying had a great foundation to it- The Christian faith, especially the Catholic faith, has a violent and muddy history. It makes me sick and almost scared to see how much power the pope has over so many opinions. Terrorist is simply another term for murderer. Murderers cause terror, and terrorists cause murder. I agree with your sentiments about religions killing. I believe that religion is the most destructive force, maybe next to racism, in the world.

What i said was that the most dangerous activity you partake in is driving. So it is irrational for you to be afraid for your children’s lives because of terrorism when YOU are putting them if far greater risk by driving them!

In three generations of my family ive had 4 people..2 at once killed in terroist acts (trade center) 1 london bomb, my uncle in northern ireland 9 years ago......................i cannot trace a single person from my family history killed through car acciedent!!!!!
I understand that some areas are more targeted from terror but these are generaly built up areas aswell with lots of cars....so my ratio is obviously more on the side of being involved in terror acts
I know the past is sore for me but they are facts!!!!

You wonder how many times the "Quran" has been re written? Well, it wasn't even written for a couple hundred of years after the death of their teacher, so every peace of the book was held together by oral tradition for over 2 centuries, that seems just as miraculous as the writing of the bible.
