Thanks for the help ganja, I used epsom salts about 4 days ago. The plants still all look sickly, there hasn't been any new growth, but it seems like the deterioration has leveled off a bit. the girls are still in one pot, the owner of them is afraid that transplanting now when they are allready weak might just kill them outright. I will get full pics of the girls later. The leaves are the worst of the worst on the sickest one, it seems like there might be a few problems, yellowing and then the other strange discoloration/spots.

the owner of the plants needs to read a gardening book, not transplanting maybe the ruin of the plant

a plant will show signs of unhappiness when root bound, and these plants were not plant under best conditions

Yeah... the owner was blaming me because I did some research for her, told her to get a better light basically (there were plants on one footlong folorecent tube), when moved to HPS they started showing the MG deficiency and rootboundness. Anyway, the idea was for them to stabalize a little before transplanting Since they have stayed sickly maybe the owner will have a change of heart. Oh yeah, here are some pics, they aren't great...

The only way ur gonna kill these plants is if they continue to grow the way they are, it doesnt seem to me that the grower knows his/her nutes, First of you shouldnt have to add epsom salt, just incase u get a lock out you would, i think that if there is a lack of Mg there is probably a lack of other nutes aswell, that yellowing looks like a N def. that darker region on the plant looks like a phosphorus def. Maybe its over fert. or bad water. transplanting the plants can only help Your leaves should be a solid some what light green, any other color means something different.

transplant & a dose of mild ferts 1 week later, double the ferts next watering, after you see the plants respond

    gluck:thumbsup:

    Hey,

They got transplanted today into a mixture of coco fiber and perlite... I think they are all going to die. The roots balls were relatively small for the size of the plants. I guess we will see in a week. Honestly if they go, thats great, I would rather start over fresh and do it right so I have some clue what is in the soil and what they are being fed. The nutes are "flora nova" or something like that.
