SMOKING MALES: The Final Experiment

was wondering about that myself. I chucked 3 males, but always wondered if they would be worth saving for hash. Maybe it would be a little more potent if you just smoked the hash (mostly trichomes), instead of a mix of plant matter and trichomes

That was my first thought, but then I began doubting whether trichomes had anything to do with the plants effects, or if I was experiencing one of the other cannabinoids effects.
So then I thought, screw it. imp:

Daaaang you kids are spoiled! Back in the 60s and early 70s in SoCal, you smoked what you had...leaves, males, and all! Kilos had stems, seeds, and leaves, as well as bud (and sometimes even the roots!) YES, you can smoke leaves . YES, you can smoke males. We older hippies did just that! We weren't quite as picky as you kids today! We smoked it all but the stems, seeds and roots. The stems went in vodka or were smoked durning droughts (ugh!), the seeds were tossed in some far away place, and the stems were tossed. Males are smokable, they just aren't as good as female bud! But in a drought, dang right, smoke those leaves and males! It will just take twice as much, but if you don't have any bud... Bet some of you who grew, but ran out, are wishing you didn't toss those males right about now! If your friends grow, and you expect a yearly end of summer drought, get your friends to give you their males-cure and stash them for next summer.

~tahoe~ You're right about that tho. Hey sometimes, I don't really wanna get stoned, but I love the smell of it and I like the act of smoking it...so maybe it's not that bad.

funny thing GreenFrog....but of course I have been spoiled too.....we had great hash, and great honey oil....and weed was what it was...though through technology and the evolution of the grow op.....things are different....and I;m glad it is....tokes and blasts are better now that they have ever been!

Yea...but a drought is a drought...and I'm all for experimentation.

LOL...yea well, that (the trichomes) are what is supposed to get you the most blazed...so I would assume the hash would be more potent gram for gram. Hey, smoke it however. Congrats on growing and harvesting bud, whether it be male or female. :thumbsup:
