my grow room is in a finished room in the basement of a vacant (not abandoned) house. I plan on just pulling the air out of the room through a CAN filter and exhausting it into another room or upstairs through the floor. Then putting in a passive intake to allow fresh air in, possibly run some ducting to the upper level and pull air in from there.

i am hoping the ambient temperature of the rest of the house can be used to control temps in the grow room. Its getting cool here and temps probably wont be over 70 during the day and temps are sometimes dropping to the low 30's at night.

The room itself is about 12 x 20

Can I get a thermostat that will turn the fans on when the room reaches over 75? Is it possible to use a standard AC/heating thermostat to run a relay?
