it's an amazing thing as long as she doesn't feel peer-pressured into trying it prematurely. goading somebody into using an illegal substance they don't feel totally comfortable about isn't usually an amazing thing.

well i really dont see the difference in smoking to feel better or popping prozac to feel better, except smoking doesnt have the side effect of suicidal thoughts.

look this is probably too late as you have already smoekd her out by now but its like this. it didnt sound to me that you were forcing her to smoke out with you. she said shed try it so there you go. on the contray maybe if she understands how much "safer" cannabis is compared to alcohol, ie:not only the effects but maybe even the people; then she'll toke more than drink. i dont think this has anything to do with feelings. some people say the reason why people get into drugs is to "take away the pain" and all that bad stuff. i didnt...i got into smoking because i never liked drinking (lots of alcoholism in the family too) and because smoking is FUN. dont forget to tell her that shes doing something new and fun and theres a whole world out there waiting to embrace in the stony world.

i dont know just my 2 cents. i hope she has fun smokin with you guys. hopefully she doesnt drink as much, and hopefully she works this ugly shit out with her ex bf and her best friend or whatever...
