Well ive got this friend here at college

she is kinda depressed because her ex bf (and best friend) are going to start dating....they are both her real good friends..and the guy is also her ex though...

before this happened I was tryin to get her to smoke with me (not really trying to get her to but telling her its less harmful than alcohol, and she drinks too) so anyways...im trying to tell ehr that smoking will make her feel better

I know it sounds like that it soudns like a cheap escape from reality and some non smokers would be most likely to say that you need to rise above and learn to deal with issues with something other than using marijuana...

anyways she said shes gonna smoke with me...

but now I kinda feel bad about it, and I dont know why

if you had the ability to get her to smoke, by saying its less harmful than alcohol...then she didnt have a big defense, therefor worry, about it anyways

just make sure you put the E in her soda

well no she never really tried to say it was harmful for u in the first place...she actually said she would eventunally smoke but it seemed like she didnt want to (it seemed like she had the perception of it like everyone does before they start using it)

but dont take away her option to use it either

and dont just giggle and watch family guy, actually talk to her, so she gets some use out of it

well of course...Im gonna let her experience her favorite bands dave mathews under the influence..

Since a lot of people dont get high (or atleast dont fully notice the effects) the first time they smoke...

im hoping she does...i want to rid her of her mental pain and open her world to harmless cannabis

Explain this to her. Tell her you feel kinda bad and don't want her to feel pressured, and tell her the risk of her depression leading to ganja as an emotional crutch. Let her hear this, not us, man.
