    first grow.

    i planted a seed
and a white sprout popped out
its getting longer, and it pushed the seed out of the soil kinda.
so i covered it with more
should i keep the seed covered, or let it just grow normally?

if there is root in the soil

    it will grow
    fine on its own

    .

What you're calling the seed is just the old shell being pushed off the plant as it stretches out. Soon, you'll see it just fall off naturally. Try to touch them as little as possible, they're quite sensitive in the beginning.
