first time getting resin from pipe

man, i've been smoking resin for years, when you're hurting for a blast and you've got no dealer for 90 miles, you've gotta make due. the trick with resin is to make it smoke it has to be contained and heated, not put into the open flame, wrap it in tinfoil, or fire up the stove and throw on a couple butter knives...it gets you wasted! and it really doesn't taste that bad, i mean, im sure we've all tasted worse...right?

if your pipe is glass - run hot water thru it- if it is metal as suggested above alcohol cleans well

Just get a bowl of boiling water, and let ur pipe/bong soak in it for about 15 mins and every 5 mins or so just scrape the sticky stuff out. Then after its been soaking get an empty coffee can and cut out the bottom of it, then take the lid of the coffee can and cut out a big hole. Then get a coffee filter and stretch it across the top of the coffee can and then put the lid on so it holds the filter down. Then remove ur pipe from the boiling water and shake out any remaining resin into the water. Then set the Coffee can over top ur drain in ur sink. Then slowly poor the water that ur pipe was soaking in onto the filter. U can also use a paper towel as a filter but coffee filter works best. Then after u have poored all the water thro the filter,take the lid off and grab the filter and squeeze any water that is left, out. then just set aside under a light to dry. Dont let it get to hot or it might burn up. Hopefully this works, i read this some where online before, forget where tho.

Yeah, I have to agree with Papaporn...I use the same method, except I put some olive oil in my water as it helps keep the wooden bowls nice...but I just keep a slow rolling boil going till I have all the resin loosened...Then use a few tools, like a small screw driver, nut pick to get all that didnt come loose...

I got a alot of resin out of my pipe using that method. I got a marble sized resin ball. It was a good smoke, I just used 2 knives and heated em up, works great.

Oh hell no would I look down on a toker for smoking resin. Herb is the gift that keeps on giving.

People only light up resin balls when desperate times call for desperate measures. Does it get you blitzed? You fuckin bet it does. Tastes like your lungs are coated with vasoline afterwards; so be warned.
