Please help with refrigerator grow set-up....

I'm going to grow indoors for the first time. I've grown outdoors before and have been very successful. I want to use an old refrigerator for my indoor set-up. I am planning on placing the fridge in my laundry room in the basement. Can anyone help me with some suggestions on how to build a proper set-up to grow in a fridge? :rasta:

aye, im doing this aswell but im going to use a frige frezzer, and use the top for a veg room and the bottem for my flowering room. At the moment i have striped the fridge down, going to use a 250w light in the flowering room. For ventelation im going to place a vent at the bottem of the fridge door and a rather big computer fan at the back of the frige where the light is to suck air out but also to help suck heat out of the fridge. In your case i'd vent the fan to your outlet of the back of your dryer (if you have one) i plan on doing some tests first to figure out a nice way of mantaining a nice 25degree in there.

I've been looking for that site...thanks! That's how I want to set-up...veg on top and flower on the bottom....I'm hoping this option works well....anyone else know of any experiences using the fridge method?

no one realy seems intressted in our adventure here jam, from what i picked up is that we will need to keep a good eye on the heat if we were going to go with Hps lights. I mean it is a fridge so it doesnt realy lose heat.

The veg room is realy quite small and will hold its heat longer so i would go with CFLs in there. Then a good HPS light in the flowering room... but then i quite new to this indoor thing so if theres anyone out there that can give us advice it would be fantastic.

I once made a dishwasher into a hookah, although I wish i still had that thing because it would have made a nice little grow room. Can't believe I never thought about it, very steatlhy guys. Keep us posted
