Just about a month ago before I moved, a bird had flown into my big, living room window. I looked down and the wing looked broken and beyond repair. i went outside, checked it out, and the bird was so fucked up that there is no way it could fly again, so I pick it up an a towel, and I see that is slowly kind, dying, like it's eyes were glazing over (a sign that death is near). I didn't want him to suffer, so I took a near by bucket filled with water to put the guy out of his misery. I put the birds head in the bucket, and was about .5 second away from it's watery grave. Suddenly, it flies from my hand! Wing is now perfect and appears to be okay.

I read later on that is Robin's, when they hit a window or are shook up, they go into temporary shock that paralyzes them temporarly. I almost killed a bird! It was for the right reason though, I guess.

One time in June, I biked downtown to the local headshop, just finished smoking a fatty and this guy in this truck runs over the leg of a little puppy. I jumped off my bike and ran across the street and buddy got an earful from me. This guy puts a puppy in the back of his box in his truck, the thing jumps out, and he runs over it. Like, what a fucktard. Yeah, lets put an untied puppy in the back of the truck, that's really smart. The dog was shook up so bad he was shaking and pissed himself, poor bugger. The worst thing was, is the guy puts the puppy back into the box of his truck, and just sits there trying to figure out what to do. Hmmm, I don't know, a 5000lb machine just ran over a dogs leg, what should I do. Idiots.

I don't know if this falls in this thread, but it was a mjor buzzkill man.
