one more thing... i need to water or water/feed her today. The soil is almost completely dry. Your suggestion, just plain water or water with some nutes? If i need to nute, what would you suggest? All i have is GH 3 part nutes. And should the water be PH 7.0? We have these water machines here where i live that supposedly is RO but i thought RO water was 7.0 ph, this stuff is in the 5 ph area. Here is a link to the machines in question: http://www.watermillsites.com/index.html Where i live tap water goes between 6.8 and 6.5.

I would water her with ZERO nutrients... maybe 1-2 gallons of water.... and I would raise the PH from what you normaly water her with.... just for this particular watering.. 6.8 - 7.0 is probably good..

It sounds like you have a great watering technique...

    thanks for the pictures..

    Is transplanting a possiblilty?

    cheers

well, i thought the pot was adequate size, its 21 quarts.. isnt that like 5.25 gallon? I'd have to say that at this time i cannot transplant due to space, im wating to get my larger grow area in a few months. I will give her 2 gals of 7.0 distilled water. Im not questioning you knowlege Knowm... but im just curious as to why no nutes? Is it to flush basically and try to determine if there are any deficiencies?

yes 5 gallon is more than adequate...

yeah, basically a flush and just an over all break... let things normalize... she definitley does not look under fed so I feel confident she can go a week without nutrients.. there are probably plenty of nutrients in the soil by this point.

If I had to take a stab in the dark I would guess that your plant has been fed a bit to much Nitrogen and not enough phosphorous and potassium...

How long are you into flowering now?
    cheers

Tuesday (Halloween) will make 4 weeks. Someone else i talk to said i maybe changed the light cycle too early and my plants were not sexually mature. When i changed the light cycle i dont think i even had pre-flowers. I believe you are right about the nitrogen issue. I have been feeding this plant GH nutes, all three parts according to the feeding schedule on the product label ever since they were one week old. Not to mention she is in Foxfarm soil with all those organic goodies. So last night i gave her 2 gallons of PH'd 7.0 water... the runoff came out damn near clear. But last Sunday, i gave her a little flush with 2 gallons of water too and the runoff was very brown... about the color of Jack Daniels whiskey

I am not to sure what the problem is but i have had the same problem in my last 2 grows. I usually did as GN said and just cut out the nutes for a week same as if i see slight burning on the leaf tips. Anyway my plant has alwasy turned out fine with plenty of nice bud to smoke.
Mabe not as much as was scientificly possible, but still a good end result.

    L3 -
4 weeks... ummmmmm.. wait a minute bro.. you have been 12/12 for 4 weeks and your plant looks like that? bro.. you must have a light leak... right?

I think your plant LOOKs good.. BUT it should look totally different 4 weeks into flowering..

Even if you have given it to much Nitrogen.. it would still have flowers and hairs all over...

Are you absolutley sure it is getting 12 hours of uniterupted darkness every 24 hours..?

    cheers

ps- why is your AV so scary?

hi guys, um is that plant from seed?

the only reason i ask is bc i had an incident where i started a plant inside and put it outside after 2 1/2 weeks. it was fall, already more dark than day. it took 7 weeks for flowers to show out! turned out female though, and ended well, the best of that year.

hope this can be of some help...

    love, kp

ps gk, stop by some time...the complex questions of a perplexed noob
