I am getting ready to start writing all my hydro tutorials. They will be generic for the most part, as I am shifting my pictorial resources towards http://hygronomics.com and vegetable grows.
For those of my friends here you are welcome to visit, but keep in mind that the site is a baby and we are evolving day by day. Just hook up with Green#1 or Hygron when You visit.

    Thanks for the props, lw

I have a question about curing if someone can help. I dried my buds in a cool dark ventilated place... i checked them everyday. Day 5 they were dry enough that when i broke the stems, they made a sharp cracking sound. Ok i put them all into mason jars. I read posts about curing and everyone says open the jars everyday for a little while when you see condensation. Well i have yet to see any condensation. Is there always condensation or no? Or does it take a long time for it to appear? 8pm tonight will make 24 hours int he jars.

always open jars every couple of days. the buds still retain a moisture in the middle of the cluster and can mold if not allowed to completely "dry" thru. I usually put buds in closed paper bags after hanging, and before jars. I find the paper bag allows the buds dry evenly throughout. the paper bag still breaths, yet the overall drying effect is lessened to the point that you cannot overdry your harvest. Imo lw

another note: As you become a better "gardner"...Your buddage will become more dense, therefore requiring more careful drying/curing techniques. you'll see! peace

Thanks for that info Lw. Could you elaborate a bit more on the paper bag technique? Like how long do you hang your buds before putting them in bags? And do you open the bags daily like with the jars? Also on another note, i wanted to ask you if you know how long nutrients will say good. Im not going to grow again for awhile, maybe 6 months or better. I have all my nutes kept in my closet which stays pretty cool, in a grey rubbermaid tub.

you. I think that you should be OK with your storage in a tub.

I just added a private medclub at mysite...I am not sure how it will work, but I am going to open a small area for mmj (you have to register, then I have to change your usergroup for you to enter 'latewood'labs' gotta go
