i make butter using 3 grams of quality bud to 125 grams of butter. So a lump (250g) 6 grams :-) I put the butter in with water (the water stops the butter goin over a certain temp, so that it doesnt burn the bud. It will fuck up if you don't mix the butter with water to cook it.) then brew it on a 'rolling boil' setting. It doesnt need to boil crazily, but jus a low heat is fine. Put the lid on so that it doesnt evapourate the mixture so much too soon.

I find it best to do it whilst your buggin in the pad for the arvo and having a chill. You need to cook it for 2 hours, checking and stirring i would say about every 15/20 mins. After that, turn the up high and reduced most of the water off. Then drain through a pair of tights and leave to chill abit on side. Then pop in fridge (NOT FREEZER!!! Found this out the hard way :-( doh! ) The butter will set on top and the lil bit of dirty looking water will be at the bottom. Use a knife to gently prize the edges up and lift the magic butter out of the container. There;ll be some scummy bit on the bottom of it where it made contact with the water. Jus scrap that shit off and use the magic butter as you will :-P

Oh, and becareful, this shit is STRONG!!! Wait atleast 1.5 hours after eating for effects to kick in ;-) It's better to start with a lil bit and work your way up than eat lots and freak the fuck out for 2hours!
