Problem!!
The plants will be perfectly fine. Just make sure you keep the same light schedule with regular flourecents. If you don't have flourecents the room lights will be fine until you get the new one, as long as it isn't too long. I have done this before for a week at a time and all was well. Just don't expect much growth in that time, but I probably didn't have to tell you that. Good luck!

Work or kids...skip work. I like that commitment! Like Tom says they should do fine. We had a several day power outage in my area so I just used the room lights and no problem. I think it's more important to make sure they get SOME light and keep their light schedule normal.

Problem!!
And before I get a bunch of questions about it.....we have a backup generator that runs the electrical for the house and well which is why I could use the regular room lights. The 1kw hid could not be plugged into the generator without blowing things up so....

They look a little deficient in something, may be Nitrogen? What type of soil are you using? It looks to be a lot of compost material, although I could be wrong. If so I would next time mix your soil with 2 table spoons of dolomite lime to act as a PH buffer. I have done this and have not had problems again with PH. Even if you don't need it, it won't hurt. Just a suggestion and good luck! Oh ya, are you using any nutes?
