The cannabis cup is a festival that was started in 1987 by high times editor Steven Hager, who went to the Netherlands for an interview with the founder of the first cannabis-seed company. The Australian owner, Nevil, lived in a mansion filled with growrooms that Hager dubbed " the cannabis castle". The festival, held annually in Amsterdam, is one of the most famous cannabis events among smokers. The public are exposed to a large variety of strains which are judged by the public. A team of judges decide every year what company brought the best marijuana, best new product or nicest booth to the festival.

Im really pissed off now. I'm going to the Dam on the 12th of nov for a few days. If I knew the festival was on the 19th I would have booked time off for it.
