littl white root

i planted some seeds
and i dug the dirt up
and one of the eeds had a white root coming out of it
i was veery excited sayig its my first plant.
and i planted it in another, better starter box thing i bought from the hydrophonic store.
and i bought a flourescent light
and im hanging it 2 and a half feet from my seeds
is that a good height?
or way closer?

Get it likr 2" from the plants

Why did you did up the seed? I know sometimes it get's frustrating waiting for them to pop out of the soil, but digging them up to check on them can hurt them. It's better just to wait, although I have done the same thing before. If you want to make sure all your seeds pop before planting just use the paper towel method. That way you can see the roots when you plant them. Hope this helps and good luck!

no because
the started i started the seed off with was no good
so i put it in a better starter thing
thats like basically guarentied to grow.
so yeah, and the root got longer over night.
but it still hasnt sprouted.
