Simple,Low cost,grow setup... 1st step:how much room.can you grow 1,2,3,4,5,plants,the planters in 1st pic,left to right,are good for soil,i use pro mix BX,ferts is a matter of choice,I use Peters 2nd pic,I use the 3rd planter,3.5 liter,i pre moist the pro mix so it will take water.set it in 5gal bucket,you have your planter ready.the bucket is to catch water,i pour 1 gallon jug of water or ferts as needed,more on this later. STEP 2:Lights,well for the money,the great results,4ft flos,40w cool Rating: 5

Yes i'm Pretty sure you can give to much,but not with my method,mine has not put out to much i use 2 jugs.but i have a air flow at all times..but no problems with 1 jug

baking soda and vinegar should work fine I had been thinking about that for a while.
My thinking was to put some vinegar in a 2 litre bottle with a few holes in the cap or around the shoulder of the bottle.Then add some baking soda.The holes should limit amout of CO2 coming into atmosphere so the plant doesnt get too much at once.Using this method you vary supply by either covering holes or making them larger depending on what your plant needs.
Please excuse me if that got a bit confusing.....these ideas always seem simplier in my head
