Well you clearly havenā??t met people like who he is talking about. Unfortunately I am related to some. Some people literally believe that the entire universe was created like 5000 years ago. And shit like carbon dating and the dinosaur bones were created by the Devil to fool us into sin. Seriously. And yes, there are people (probably only in America) who rationalize, in the psychological context, burning all the fuel they can get there hands on and consuming all they want because god gave the earth to humans.

I also agree that north America does consume way too much, this is without question.
