mylar on floor

Do you guys have any problems with the white flooring bothering your eyes? Thanks for all the great suggestions by the way---didn't even think about white on the floor instead of mylar. I love accessing all these different minds for ideas!

I just use a thick light grey-silver tarp. THICK being the most important part since I have plants covering practically every inch of floor space so I don't care about light really, just having water damage come through my living room ceiling!

I second that. My main concern is water. Most of the light will come from the top and reflect off the sides. I wouldn't put the extra work into it. Especially not with mylar. It will rip and get dirty, then you will have to move all of your plants just to take it up. Go some other route...like thick plastic, visqueen like GK said, or something easier to work with.

i concur --- solid quality floor protection takes priority
