Zandors audio sounds GREAT to me???

I don't as of yet have a membership on your site forum. SO I thought i would post this here. On one show you talked about getting some better gear so you could spice up the show a bit. I work at a recording studio. So Spicing up Crappy audio is What I do best. The shows audio is fine yes it works. But I could make it better for future uses. like for example. I could take the shows that are finished and tweek the audio in em. get rid Rating: 5

I probably could learn ProTools and I probably should learn it too...

I need something simple to hook up to my MAC.. I do like ZANDORs sound quality..

Well You should be able to record a vocal track into Final Cut Pro No Problem. You wont have any good audio options to tweek the Vo but you will be able to get a guide in their that will sound similar to Zandors quality.

Having good Gear and Good mics are important to good sound. But your main thing is a MIC PRE AMP This alllows you to have multiple Mic Options. See most Voice Over Mics (Large Condensor Mics). Require a power which is known as Phantom POwer it is 48V sent from the preamp to the microphone. It is used to boost the siginal so it can be herd audiably. Do a google search on Condersor Mics., alot of info will come up. They are great vocal microphones and can be good instrument mics as well. With quality alos comes price. they are about 100 and up to 10,000US For Tube Mics.. TOp of the line...

Uhh If you do decide to grab protools as it would be good for your video needs as well. and works hand in hand with AVID express Video and Final Cut Pro. You would be able to have a condensor Mic. Because when you buy Pro TOols LE which is what I would suggest.. A MBOX you get the hardware with the 48V Pre amp. and lots of other goddies. Its about 500CAD you'll get everything you need minus a mic.

If you can't go with that I recomend a Dynamic Mic. which would cost anything from 50 to 300 bucks. You can find em anywhere at music shops. all prices etc. These mics do not require 48V Phantom power they just plug into you Mixer or Preamp and work fairly well. You would also be able to plug them into a PC with the proper cable adapters. This is probs more what your looking for. Check out the SURE SM 57 and 58 or similar mics. these are classic Mics used for ages. the SM57 is decent for vocal but more of an intruement Mic., It is the MIc that had miced Snare drums for the past 50 yrs. everyone has herd its tone on many albums itsa recording studio standard and its only 100 bucks.

But if your using it for Strictly VO its sister mic the SM58 would probs be better cuz its meant for live stage Voccal mics, so its output has more top end and a louder output by 3db. and this may help you if you aren't running your mic through and pre amp of mixer before you plug into you com,puter.

If you do have a preamp or a little mixer I would suggest you go with a sm57 cuz of its name known as a true Master Mic. you can really use it to record anything. guitars drums vox anything...

hey buddie i checked out the link you gave for the grow report.. top stuff.. i listened to the first show.. i was like ye go zandor go go go.. man he sounds so good on the mic he knows his shit too:dance: i downloaded all the other shows ... they are so sweet.. zandor keep doing what your doing great show your the man:thumbsup:
