My vote for gay capital of the world would have to be Province Town (sp?), out on end of Cape Cod, Mass. Beautiful place. I say that, not from a homophobic point of view, but because like the mayor, police chief, and a lot of other city officials are gay. The sand dunes out there are awsome. It's just...weird about gay capitals. San Diego is supposed to be a gay hotspot. I guess those hot, sandy, places are a draw for gays. Being a hetero, I don't really get it. Maybe it has something with sand would irritate the pooon-tang so women don't like it? I don't really know, or care really. But as far as poon gazing, Cape Cod is great. I would have to say, there are more Beaver Beachs, there, than anywere. Nude beaches too. But those places are usually private. On labor day, the locals stand on the highway overpasses, and wave good-bye to the all the departing traffic. It's really something to see. Winter is definetely the time to go out there, as it's less crowded, but it's a bit more chilly in the winter than the Keys. And I personally would get a kick out of seeing Hemingway's haunts on the Keys (like Bob said). Have fun out there!
