Degrading intelligence
Hello. I had a few questions I was hoping I may be able to get some responses to. I smoke marijuana essentially every weekend, maybe sporadically during the week every once in a while. I've noticed that the day after I smoke, and usually several days after that, I feel "burnt out" and less intelligent. Is this normal, and are there any ways to prevent this? I usually only smoke one or two bowls, but i'm pretty light so it doesnt take much.

If you ever hear someone say something like "Man, I am so burnt.." that's what they mean. Usually when monday morning rolls around after some serious toking, my brain is fried to the max and I can hardly function properly. It's normal, and no, there's nothing you can really do...other than smoke more

You might notice a difference with a change to a more sativa-dominant/stimulating strain. I found I had the lowered-intelligence hangover with whatever type I smoked, but I had it for much shorter durations with the more stimulant-like Sativa strains as opposed to the Indicas, which were more sedating. I was a very light, occasional smoker, too, and so knew I was fairly sensitive to its effects when I felt it slow me down intellectually for a day or two afterwards. After the less-sedating strains, I only had about a half day of that effect.

I notice it if I haven't smoked all day. I usually smoke at least once a day so I usually feel pretty good. I quit buying weed so i could spend money on more important things like my car and school and whatnot and I definitely feel burned out now. Weird, huh?
