Tokudai Reviewed by Tokudai on . Wind (from fan) noise help Heya - I'm running a dual spectrum 800W cooltube, and the fan I am using is virtually silent (1.0 sones). I can't hear it running at all in the bloomroom, even with the door open, but the sound of the air moving, exiting the 6" duct exhaust is pretty loud. I am using the accordian like 6 "dryer hose" and have tried wrapping the duct with towels and such - no luck. I'm building a muffler now, but it is not as small as I'd like and I'm worried about decreasing the flow beacuase of restriction. Rating: 5
