Now a rant (I'm high)
I am a 28 year old single mum to two. I had my oldest when I was 17. I am NOT a welfare recipient, I am GAINFULLY employed, I am COLLEGE educated, I have a FANTASTIC relationship with the father of my children - he is my closest friend in the world, and I his.

And just because there is no fucking ring on my finger, does NOT mean I need some guy to swoop in like PrincefuckingCharming, sweep me off my feet and become Daddy to my kids! I DO NOT want to be in a relationship that requires any of the attention I currently devote to my family and my work.

Dammit people, I AM HAPPY!!! To my asshole friends who insist on always having another "single" at dinner parties...to my mother who fixes me up with the sons of all her friends, to the guys in the bands who think I am a groupie, to all the sickos online...I am quite happy being single. I have a "friend" whom you will NEVER meet, but who keeps me satisfied.
