Making a Bong....trying to make it real good
My fellow friends/tokers and I have our own fort. It can be mad fun at times, we can drink blaze, smoke, watch cable tv, eat, lay down, anything really. I contributed all the weed and necessites, while someone else usually gets alcohol, someone gets food, anyway, it's always my job to get weed and stuff, which I love.
We like joints, blunts, and my glass pipe I got, but what is a chill spot without a bong, right? We need a bong!!!
Anyway, I'm gonna give another gift to ourselves, a bong. I can't really afford a good glass piece from a head or smoke shop, and I'm very handy so I'll make one. This isn't gonna be your average gatorade bottle/duct tape/aluminum foil/pen tube crap job either, it has to be something I will be able to show and use with pride
I'm going to make the actual bong out of a good glass bottle. I know I can drill through it already because I tested it already with my dremel with a diamond bit (for glass).
It's going to be a carb hole bong instead of a slide. I and going to get glass or metal tube to make the stem and I'll epoxy it or something through the hole in the glass.
The bowl is what has been bugging me. I can't buy a premade bowl. I thought I could possible use clay. Or, if there is any stores you guys know of that sell glass, I could use a blow torch to make a bowl from glass.
I thought the clay would be my best bet, because I know I can get it from a local craft supplies store.
What do you guys think? Any ideas for a good bowl. Please don't say aluminum foil.
Thanks so much guys, and extra thanks to everyone would read all that ^

Making a Bong....trying to make it real good
the best thing ive ever seen for a bowl that wasnt an actual bowl were these things you put on a bottle of frosting, so that it comes out in fancy shapes. no idea on the cost, but i bet any store associated with baking would carry them. theyre basically these little metal cones, perfect size and shape. and the holes are usually a cool shape too
dont use clay, unless its a special type that says can be exposed to a flame. most clay has some bad stuff in it that would be released if it got hot enough.
or you could abandon that idea, find a nice lamp at a yard sale or something and make a hookah, if you get the right kind ittl evenj come with a big metal tube that the wire runs thru, jsut get the wire out and all you need is a bowl and hoses. im currently doing that now, with this fuckin beautiful ceramic lamp.
good luck!
